Pastor Constance Poitier Christian (aka Pastor Connie) was born in Sioux City, IA and is the eldest of five children to Bishop David L. Poitier and Carolyn L Poitier DeLoach. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at a young age and has dedicated her life to serving Christ and his people.
Pastor Constance is the wife of Pastor John H. Christian, II, and through this blessed and love filled partnership since 1994, God has worked wondrously! Pastor Constance is the mother of four beautiful children: Jonvier, Joshua, Devon and Czenobia Christian. Pastor Constance believes in the strong sense of family and is a mother figure to everyone and a Godmother to many.
Pastor Constance was educated in the public school system. She attended Lake Sumter Community College and Saint Leo University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Specializing in Management. She is a licensed Evangelistic Missionary in the Church of God In Christ and was licensed under Mother Elizabeth G. Crooms, State Supervisor of Women Central Florida First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC. Additionally, Pastor Constance serves along side her husband as the Co-Pastor of Christian Worship Center (CWC) in Leesburg, FL.
CWC is a ministry that was founded in 2000 by Pastors John and Constance Christian. Since the birth of Christian Worship Center, the ministry has grown to astounding numbers. Pastor Constance serves as President of the Women of Worth (WOW) which is the women’s ministry at Christian Worship Center. She is the Executive Director of the Constance Poitier Christian Women’s Ministry House and she is the director of the CWC Mass Choir and Praise Team.
Pastor Constance is an anointed and gifted preacher of God’s word and is able to draw crowds by the masses with her compelling messages. Pastor Constance feels that her mission is to empower, excite, and educate women to become everything that God has intended for them to be and to become. Her most common expression/quote is “All excuses were nailed to the cross”.
The spirit of the Lord is truly upon Pastor Constance, and the Lord has anointed her to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
